Introducing Grover & Woodstock

Baby Girl and Son as names are so ... blah. Neither of them have any sort of color or personality or sense of reality about them.

So today, I'm giving them new names.

Son - nearly a teen, who lives 2,500 miles away except during summer vacation, for the most part, will heretofore be known as Grover. Yes, like the blue (purple?)long-armed, inquisitive, huggable monster on Sesame Street.

Baby Girl - a month shy of her first birthday, will heretofore be known as Woodstock, the charming little yellow bird who is the faithful companion to Snoopy.

They fit. Sort of. At least they're more interesting than generic gender labels.

I can see it. Woodstock does have that tuft of blond hair, after all.

Wait - does that make you snoopy?
