This morning I read through my weekly press clippings to find this:
ACTUAL MEDIA ARTICLE
XYZ Inc. supports Nonprofit Cause
XYZ Inc. presented $XX0,000 recently to three benefited charities: $XX0,000 went to the Charity A $XX,000 went to Charity B and $XX0,000 went to Charity C.
Sponsoring Nonprofit Sara Works For with its [Name of Event Here] in October, XYZ Inc. was able to raise the funds at the event. [Brief statement about Nonprofit Sara Works For Here].
I scratched my head. Funny how it appears XYZ Inc. presented a very large sum of money to three organizations as a result of our [Name of Event Here] two weeks ago. And funny how it seems they raised all this money at the event.
Curious, I went back to the e-mail/release I sent the reporter. It looks nothing like what was written.
