On The Recent Snowstorm

It snowed this weekend. SNOWED! As in 3" of the white stuff all over the yard on Sunday morning. As in we had to turn on the heat because our house is leaky and poorly insulated. As in we had to dig out not just jackets but actual COATS.

As in ... winter is almost here.

*sigh*

I was complaining about the early arrival of Old Man Winter, until I realized that this is NORMAL - realizing that last year I was pretty much in the same state of mourning, as evidenced by this post, which still rings very, very true.

It's going to be a long time until spring comes again.

haahahahahhah.....that BLOWS. I was being mopey here because I'm in the P-Coat phase and the trees are starting to lose their leaves, but really, you MADE my day. WOW, snow, that sucks...I should buy boots, before it gets cold here...hmmmmm.

Phil - all I have to say is you made my day when you said Brussels makes London look tropical. Although, I'd take Brussels over snow though (though it is supposed to be 70 today).
