Let Me Count the Ways ...

Since I moved west, I often get the question, "What do you miss the most about the East Coast?"

For months and months and months, I've answered, "Almost everything - traffic and cost of living the exceptions."

Today, I finally realized what it is I miss the most (besides my friends, the smorgasboard of food options and the "One True Grocery."): Diversity and tolerance.

And, while we're at it, I also miss decent public transit.
